1979 RT17 Suzuki Wasp

Ex-Phil Franklin bike. 1978 GS1000 motor.
Bike underwent a significant refresh/rebuild prior to purchase in late 2008. Was absolutely immaculate with hardly anything to spend when I bought it. Raced twice since purchase - last raced at ASA Sidecar Spectacular at Warnambool in April 2009. No use since then due to injury. While the rider has been undergoing a major rebuild, we added this to the bike to get it ready to start racing again :

New shocks all round – Gazi VMX Nitrogen (never turned a wheel with these shocks on it).
New DID X Ring O-ring chain (one hours use)
New front and rear steel sprockets (as above)
New Unifilter airfilter
New wheel bearings all round (never turned a wheel in anger since fitting)
New heavy duty aluminium floorplate (powder coated black)
New pre-85 style banana Front Swingarm (to allow longer front shocks)
New battery
New stainless steel fasteners all round
Brand new spare rear tyre
